Keep me strong in faith and weak in habitual selfishness, Lord. Your impartial dealings with me have been my solace. When I lag behind where I should be on the path of life, Your Spirit nudges me in the right direction. Though I am prone to wander, You continually reveal the way to me through Your Word and through circumstances. Nourish my soul back to life until it becomes vigorous once again. As long as I seek the center of Your heart and remain in Your will, I do not need to fear perishing. Your tender heart enfolds the injured. Your quick eyes see the calamities that befall Your beloved. Your loving heart yearns toward the meek and feeble. Holding Your hand as I traverse the roughest path keeps me steady. Compel me to abide deeply, Lord Jesus. Your love is my restoration. Increase the measure of my love’s response. Delegate holy tasks for Kingdom glory. Sprinkle my heart with more truth than lies. There is no other to whom I belong. You are the Lord, and You are one. Under the manifold blessing of truth in Psalm 50:1-2 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
