Wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting King, everything in this world belongs to You, including me. You have declared me Your precious treasure purchased by the high price of the cross of redemption. Remind me how valuable I am for I am prone to lapses of memory. How quickly I succumb to the condemning labels put on me by others even though I have only to raise high my shield of faith in order to douse those flaming arrows of criticism. For You define me, Lord God. Your holy word convicts me without condemning me so that I can be strengthened and continually remade in the likeness of Christ. When I feel inadequate, overwhelmed and stressed by life, grab my attention as You remind me who I am and all that is available to me from Your hand. Calm me with Your peace and Your assurance that I am more than enough in Christ. Thank You for intertwining a wretched soul like me with the beautiful grace of Your Holy Spirit. Under the awesome Word of Isaiah 43:1-2 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers I offer to the Lord of my heart.

But now Yahweh who created you, Jacob,
    and He who formed you, Israel, says:
