Thank You, O Lord, my God that You are ever by my side, equipping me to walk in holiness, to be set apart in order to bring Your dazzling light into this fallen world. Be luminously evident to me in Your Word, Lord, as I seek to find You in the depths of Your truth. Grant me the rest that will replenish my soul so that I can serve You with the energy You supply. Place in me a hunger for spiritual discipline which will enhance my relationship with You in new and adventurous ways. Through the white rapids of spiritual growth, grant me the discernment necessary to stay safely upon the path of Your will for my life. May I remain pure in Your sight, able to do that which is pleasing to You, O Lord. Forgive my forgetfulness which leads me into traps of temptation. I invite You to remind me who I am -Your utterly precious, chosen vessel, perfect creation designed specifically for the role of shining the light of the gospel of truth into a dark and unwelcoming world. In Your peace, my stress will be relieved. In Your goodness, my faults will be my strength. In Your love, my soul will be protected. My future is assuredly safe in Your mighty hands for all things hold together in You, my Savior. Under the blessedness of Your Holy Word in Colossians 1:17 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I let these prayers fall from my heart to Yours, O God.
