Father God, Creator of the universe and great light of the world, illumine the darkness in my life through the power of Your divine love. Let it shine as a beacon of life to all who are looking for it. Lead me with Your tender generosity. Cover me with the beauty of truth so that the ugliness of lies I have agreed to does not taint my soul. Paint the canvas of my heart with the stunning hues of grace until I become the masterpiece designed by Your hand. One that You envisioned me being before I was even born. Rescue me from myself, Jesus, as You pull me into the refuge of Your bright, shining inheritance. You have given me all that I need and everything my soul deeply desires by granting me Your entire self in the form of love’s sacrifice upon the cross. Under the majesty of 1 Peter 1:3-5 and the blessed authority of Christ Jesus, I set these prayers as a fragrant offering to You in humility and awe of Your grace, O God who guards me.

 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you, who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
