God Almighty, who sees all things and orchestrates the details of my life into a gorgeous melody, use me as Your holy instrument. Turn my eyes upon You, Jesus, so I can follow the rhythm You are directing me to be a part of. Settle the drumming annoyance of uncertainty by granting me the stillness of Your peace. Remind me that every good piece of music includes rests. Invite me to take those rests at the appropriate time so that my anointed breath is ready to play when You cue my grand entrance. Under the melody of Psalm 101:1 and the authority of Jesus, our divine director, I lift these prayers to heaven rejoicing that You hear the song of the heart, O God.
