My Father in heaven, glory be to Your awe-inspiring Name. Shield me from the heartache of disappointment that undermines faith when the story of my life takes an unexpected turn. Raise up in me the overcoming power of humility that will allow me to fight the enemy’s subtle attack through the emotional avenue of un-confessed anger. Bring me to reconciliation in You so that I can live under Your anointing of grace even with a relentless thorn assigned to me. Open my eyes to search for You, my heart to desire You, and my spirit to unite with Yours in a union of full surrender. Under the truth of John 17:20-21 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are a fragrant offering to God Almighty.
