Precious Prince of Peace, unravel the tangled mess that my heart can be in at times. Help Your beloved servant walk in integrity before You despite the snares and schemes of the enemy that attempt to bring me down. Hold me up when I am weary as You give me food for my soul through the glory of Your Word. Let my season of famine be short and my time of feasting be long, O Lord. Grant me the perseverance to move through the seasons allotted to me according to Your divine destiny. Above all, increase my knowledge of You in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so that my soul is in alignment with Your Spirit in every moment given me for now and always. Under the blessed truth of Romans 5:3-5 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray with a humble heart to the One who is my source of life.

Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
