Great God Almighty, maker of all things and giver of every great gift, be the giver that Your beloved needs in this moment. Father, give me mercy in times of temptation. Give me protection in the heat of the battle. Give me strength in times of weakness. Give me wisdom in seasons of confusion. Give me peace in the middle of chaos. Give me direction when I meet a fork in the road. Above all, give me perfect love to overshadow loneliness just as You gave me salvation to eliminate our separation. Thank You, my most generous Lord, for Your beautifully giving heart. For without You, Jesus, I would never have been given life at all. Create in me the giver You designed me to be as a reflection of You.  Open the avenues of my heart to be flooded with mercy, grace, and hope. Under the mighty Word of James 1:17 and the authority of the blood of Christ, I set these prayers in Your mighty hands, O God.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.
