My great and mighty King, let Your anointing fall upon Your child this day. I am in desperate need of the power of my inheritance in Christ. For I do not always follow Your ways in the midst of life’s distractions. Usher me into a place of new beginnings with a heart that trusts in You and is willing to follow Your lead. Make me. Keep me. Mold me. Shape me. For Your glory through my life is the deepest desire of my heart. May Your mighty arms catch me in the falls that inevitably come on this journey, Lord. Pull me out of the pits I inadvertently fall into, O God, and set me back upon the path that points in the direction of heaven’s horizon. Jesus, You are the compass of my soul. You are my pasture-maker and the One that my heart trusts. I know that in You I am secure no matter where the path of life leads me. Under the treasure of 2 Samuel 22:34 and the authority of Christ, I pray in humble submission to my mighty King.
