Holy is Your Name, my Father in heaven. Bring Your peace like a flood into my dry and parched soul. Water the empty places, Lord, and replenish the thirsty ground of my heart so that the seeds of Your abundant promises are planted as they take root in fertile soil. My desire is that my life bears much fruit to the glory of Your Great Name, Jesus. Let the doors be open which will lead me toward fruitfulness in Christ. Let the gates that provide a way into the garden of my soul be shut tight against the enemy who seeks to kill, destroy, and devour me. May Your beautiful peace fall in steady rain upon the heart and life of Your servant. Your droplets of mercy and deluge of grace are everything that I need for fullness of life. You have seen fit to save Your image bearer, Lord. Sanctify me that I might best reflect You in holiness and love. With a humble and grateful heart I set these prayers at the feet of Jesus, under Your authority and the Word of truth in 1 Timothy 4:7-8.

But refuse profane and old wives’ fables. Exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.
