Almighty God, worthy of all praise, giver of true life, infiltrate the empty places of my soul with Your fulfilling power. Sustain me for the time before me by nourishing me with truth from Your Word. Quiet any vain chatter in my mind so that I am enabled to hear Your voice and move in confidence to the beat of the drum Your Spirit inside me is playing. Let the power of Your grace cover me when I cannot release worry. Let the presence of Your peace comfort me when I experience anxiety. May the eyes of my spirit catch glimpses of heavenly glory as I embark on the adventure of an ordinary life in the shadows of eternity. I will submit to the authorship of my extraordinary Savior. Under the blessed Word of Matthew 6:33 and the authority of Christ, these prayers I set upon the altar of the mighty King of glory.
