God of all glory who illuminates the discrepancy of my soul in order that I might gravitate toward the light of Christ, draw Your beloved child into the protection of Your Kingdom’s borders. Reveal to me the deceptions of darkness that are tempting me to turn toward the shadow of evil rather than the light of truth. Father, raise me up in the strength of Your Spirit to be on guard as the world plunges itself into a pit of self-awareness. Let me be Your tender voice of grace and truth which manifests my borderless trust in the divine love of Christ Jesus, in whom I have found the treasure of life eternal. Lead me to the promised land. Show me how to live the abundant life You call me to live. Have Your way in me, Jesus, for my soul is embedded in Your heart. My life is in Your care. My being is for You to keep. Under the majesty of John 10:10 and the blessed authority of Christ, I set these prayers as incense before the throne of God.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.
