God of all creation, let us love the way You love. Bring fiery passion into the soul of Your precious ones. Overshadow all pain in my spirit, soul, and body by the goodness of Your indwelling Holy Spirit. Flame the embers of faith so that I shine brightly even in dark times. Hold me tenderly in an embrace of hope when heaven’s horizon fades from my view. Let me linger in divine love when loneliness beckons me to follow. Keep me from falling into the abyss of frustration, Jesus. Lead me to the open space of loving trust when I am tangled in the temptations of emotion that tend to knot up my heart. I thank You, Lord, for fueling my faith, for helping me hope, and for living through me to love. Under the beautiful Word of 1 Corinthians 13:13 and the glorious authority of Christ, these prayers are Yours to hear, O God.
