Father in heaven, holy is Your great and awesome Name. Bless Your warrior child with discernment of Spirit so that I have a sense of Your divine will. Make me stronger in the face of adversity as I fight the battle before me in such a way that glory is brought to You. Equip me with the protective armor necessary for me to traverse enemy territory and gain back the stolen ground. Use the challenges to refine my soul, to mold me, and to shape me until I am the useful tool Your hand desires. Raise me up, Lord God, to be the fighter that the devourer of my soul rightfully fears. Lead me to contend for the faith. Teach me to fight to hold on to the hope I have in Christ. Show me how to duel for the love which is rightfully mine in You. For I am a child of God, chosen, protected, and redeemed. Under the mighty Name of Christ and the authority of Your Word in John 1:12, I lift these prayers from the battlefield of life.
