My Father in heaven, You take my breath away with the glory that drips from Your fingertips upon the canvas of creation. Shower Your servant with mercy and grace for the difficult situations that surface in my life. For my desire is to be a vessel of Your glory against the backdrop of the world’s ugliness. Lord, be my strength in times of weakness. Be my wisdom in moments of confusion. Be my peace in the midst of chaos. Raise me up to the rock that is higher, so that I can maintain an eternal perspective on earthly sorrows. Slay the fear inside my soul, Father, before it hinders my faith. For I am a child of the King. I am chosen, forgiven, righteous, and holy by the blood of Christ. Let no person used as a vessel of the dominion of darkness overcome the power of light which is within Your beloved. Under the holiness of the authority of Christ and the power of the Word as found in Matthew 5:16, I pray in the strength and power of my God.
