Great God Almighty, praise Your Holy Name as You lift Your servant up to view present circumstances from heaven’s perspective. Open my eyes to recognize the dazzling light of Your presence even as I am enveloped by the darkness of trial and temptation. Let me glide along the string of my faith to the center of Your heart, O God, so that every divine appointment in life is met with the power of Your Spirit emanating through me. May every encounter be intentional in bringing gospel glory to those involved in the stories You are weaving together. Increase the fruit of my labor as this ordained adventure of life is Your assignment. Mold and shape me until I become a better image-bearer of You than I am in this moment in time. Let me glean a myriad of blessing as I reflect upon the times You have given me in this life. My heart overflows with gratitude for You have been good to me, O Lord. Under the Word of Psalm 138:1-3 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I let these prayers float from my heart to Yours, O God.

I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart;
    before the gods I sing your praise;
I bow down toward your holy temple
    and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love
