Today’s Prayer

My Lord and Savior, be nearer to me now than ever before. Prepare Your servant for such a time as this. Empower me with the clarity of Your Holy Spirit’s indwelling guidance. For the burdens I carry as Your appointed child are discouragingly heavy at times. Resonate with my grieving heart by allowing me a supernatural endurance which equips me to push forward in the energy of the joy that only comes from spending time in Your presence. With You, Lord, there is peace in the adversity and growth from struggles. Deafen me to the enemy’s consistent taunts of condemnation until the only thing I heart through the filter of my heart are the sweet whispers of affirmation in Your voice, God. The life I live can be treacherous at times, but the path toward new life has already been paved by Your life Jesus. Let me follow in the holy clarity of Your Word. Let me rejoice that my shepherd’s perspective is unflawed and graciously bestowed upon one as lowly as me each time I bow before the throne in prayer. Grant me a deep sense of Your delight, Lord. Envelope me in the totality of Your will. Make my deepest desire be to reflect You in every assignment purposely allotted to me while on this side of heaven. Keep me beneath the authority of Your Name for such a time as this until my life’s days are summed up with one legacy – that I pointed others to You, Lord God. Under the blessed Word given in Esther 4:14 and the authority of my Savior, Christ Jesus, I bow in deep and reverent prayer.

If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?
Esther 4:14, NLT
