Deliver me, Creator of my being & Giver of all life, from the vain adulation of myself which nauseates my soul. Bless me in the midst of all of Your promises with belief that You are who You say You are; and so, I am who You say that I am. Let the identification of my being remain rooted in Christ. I look to You, Father, to bless me with true blessing even when I am inclined to ask for that which is inferior. Enrich me with faith that does not fixate on the external favor of Your love but seeks the depths of Your heart which nourishes my spirit and grows my soul. For it is in You that I am richly blessed. It is in the shadow of Your presence that I find my rest. Under the Word that sustains me in Genesis 12:2 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
I will bless you and make your name great,
so that you will be a blessing.
Genesis 12:2, ESV
