Savior of my soul, the great I AM, make my life a sweet stroll of defiant faith as I walk along the path with my hand in Yours. Lift up my languishing spirit when the road beneath my feet is difficult to traverse. Father, open the ears of my heart to hear Your voice speaking into my unanswered longings so that I am not weighed down by bitterness of soul. Only You can repair the rupture of the subtle idolatry which I have bowed down to in my life. Only You can drive me away from the fruitless joys of a selfish existence, leading me into a broad place, bounded by the truth of Your Word, unconstrained by my own iniquity. Your grace has taken back the stolen ground, Lord. Let my exhilaration be spent in grateful adoration. Jesus, You are more than enough. You are the Way, the Truth and the Life. Encircle me in Your love. Under the Word of John 14:6 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth,
and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me.”
John 14:6, ESV
