When the world around me is mired in deception, let me hear the clarity of Your truth, Jesus. Quiet the chaos in my soul as I react to the storm swirling about me. Enable me to feel Your presence in the night seasons.  Equip me to hear the song You sing over me when despair has gripped my heart. Take the ash of my life into Your hands so that You can make something beautiful. Bought by grace and purchased in love, my heart belongs to You. Because my weak heart is safe in Your hands, I rest in You. Gratefully, I praise You for carrying my burdens, leading me to the light. Your abiding guidance is my delight. Your sweet counsel is my refuge. In You, I have all that I need. Let me not wander into hopelessness. Let me not venture from Your side. Pull me into the deep. Call me out of the dark. Let me live in light’s abundance to the sweet glory of Your name. Under the Word of Ephesians 5:8-9 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
