You are my good, good Father, Lord. When my life overwhelms me because I focus on the lack instead of on Your blessing, teach me to come to You with my worries and fears so that Your perfect love can cast them out and enable me to trust You to provide. Show me how to identify the difference between “needs” and “wants” in order that I may let go of unhealthy desires so You can minister to my needy heart. In this way, let my love for you be incorruptible because I trust You to supply every need. Let me look to You for the sustaining replenishment that my soul constantly requires. Let me settle for nothing less than all of You to satisfy the desire of my heart. You are my one desire, Lord. You are my one thrill. I fall into Your open arms, trusting completely that You are there to catch me. Under the pleasure of Your Word in Philippians 4:19-20 and the authority of Christ, I humbly pray in trust.
And my God will supply every need of yours
according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
