My Father in heaven, let my trust in You not waver as You teach me to rely on You with steadfast confidence. Help me to keep from allowing my disappointments to turn into injury that hinders my walk with You. For You have equipped me to run the race of faith marked out for me, not limp along a deceptive path of my own making. You have led me out of the forest of confusion and into the light of clarity through the foundational truth of Your Holy Word. I look to You, Jesus, to keep making me. I look to You, to hold me through the storms. I come to You when I don’t know where else to turn. Show me more of Yourself, Jesus, in the days laid out for me. Remember not the transgressions that have tripped me up in the past as You lead me to the future of promise. I delight in Your compassion and tenderness as I rest upon Your Word. Under the authority of Jesus and the word of Psalm 25:5, I humbly pray.
Guide me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You [and only You] I wait [expectantly] all the day long.
Psalm 25:5, AMP
