Father in heaven, help me to be who You say I am. Let the world around me not define me through cultural standards or trendy expectations. Keep my self-worth protected beneath the definitions of truth in Your Holy Word. For I am Your child, created male or female, a bearer of Your image. I am a follower of Christ, generous and ageless. Because of who You are, I am able to do all things through Christ Jesus, my Savior. My citizenship is in heaven because I am an ambassador for You here on earth. The language given me to speak is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I have been lovingly taught by the Word of God so that I can be a reflection of Christ in this world. Though the world attempts to tell me who I am through gender, race, religion, social class, age, education, nationality or language, Father, keep my perspective on the truth of who I am in You. Let the life You created in me bring forth the destiny that You had planned since before the beginning of time. I bow in prayer beneath the mercy of the one true King. Under the Word given in Romans 9:25-26 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
As He says in Hosea, “I will call them ‘My people’ who are not My people;
and I will call her ‘My loved one’ who is not My loved one,”
and, “In the very place where it was said to them,
‘You are not My people,’
there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’
