My Lord, let me drink deeply of Your perfect truth because my soul has been poisoned by deception. Your divine love is the only antidote for the inflicted disease of selfishness. In the sweetest delight, I fall at the foot of the cross, letting the burdens slip off my back as You release me from the shackles of worldly desire. Tune my heart’s ears to Your voice alone as I listen for the whisper that declares me Yours. No kinder words have ever been spoken than those which freed me: I am Yours and You are mine. No sweeter promise has eve been embraced by my soul than: Come to Me and I will give you rest. My blessed Savior, Your battle-weary servant delights to fall into Your arms. Refresh my polluted soul in Your presence. Finish what You have started, Lord, as I give all of me to You. Under the sweetest of Words in John 17:10 and Matthew 11:28 in the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
All Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.
John 17:10, ESV
Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28, ESV
