Today’s Prayer

Precious Savior, I take refuge beneath the beautiful wing of resurrection power. Your love upon the cross beckons me to make a way toward the home You have prepared for me. Who am I that You would bridge the gap for me? Who am I that You would close the divide I created? You are my God, personal, loving and faithful. Where I fail, You succeed, Lord. Where I fall, You pick up my pieces and put me back together. Your grace removes the stumbling blocks I often put in Your way. Your cross grants me the direction to travel through life. So I come, my Lord, on stumbling legs of faith and shaky knees of hope. I come to bow before You, my righteous King, my blessed One and only, my safety and refuge. Under the Word of Ephesians 3:14-17 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith
—that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
Ephesians 3:14-17, ESV
