My sovereign Lord, I yield myself to You, heart and soul. Take me into Your divine embrace. Let me not reap the harvest of my own deeds. Rather, by the power of Your grace, let me harvest that which Your cross has bought for me. Do not let me escape Your will, Lord, through my own folly. I fear the consequences of actions motivated by my own insecurity. Your nearness is my treasure. Your Word is my delight. May the radiant light of Your face illuminate life’s path. In You, Jesus, my mind finds peace. Drop heaven’s joy into my being, Lord, so that I may serve You with diligence and beauty. Let me draw upon You for comfort in the midst of adversity. Usher in the new dawn of healing in and through my life. Let me rest in Your embrace when my soul is utterly wounded. For You are my Healer and my Lord. Under the Word given in Isaiah 58:8 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
Then shall your light break forth like the dawn,
and your healing shall spring up speedily;
your righteousness shall go before you;
the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Isaiah 58:8, ESV
I fear the consequences of actions motivated by my own insecurity… this is a phrase to ponder–
