My Lord, let Your Holy Spirit empower the light of my faith until it shines bright enough to push against the darkness in my soul. Make me a believer by way of passion, Jesus, not just mental assent. I look to You to anchor me in truth so that I am not tossed about on the waves of a deceptive culture. My Lord, You know me better than I know myself. I bow naked before You in prayer so that I can be clothed in power from on High. Let my budding faith intertwine with prayer in such a way that the resulting fragrance of divine love wafts into every aspect of my life. Pull me into this sweet and intimate dance of joy so that Your servant is energized for Kingdom work. By Your strength and assurance, may my faith stand firm in defiance of the minions of hell. Let me not welcome darkness because I am a child of the light. Under the message given in Isaiah 61:10 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

I will have much joy in the Lord. My soul will have joy in my God,
