My Lord, how can I offer You my heart in every moment? How can I reveal the inner secrets that even I am unaware of within my soul? Let those blind spots not cause me to stumble. I long to walk steadily in the divine light of grace. I desire to love You with a love that is unrestricted by personal longings. Without You, I can find pleasure in nothing. With You, I can find joy in suffering. May my heart be filled with gratitude that consoles my weary soul in remembrance of all You have done for me on the cross. With all worldly concerns abandoned, saturate my mind with the recollected beauty of the Word made flesh, of my God dwelling among us, and of a love that sacrificed all. God, recall my spirit’s attention to Your presence whenever I am distracted. Tune me to the sweet sound of Christ’s peace so that distress and anxiety do not thwart the melody of hope You play as a new song within me. Remake Your servant through holy devotion as I offer You my heart in every moment. Under the Word given so graciously in John 16:31-33 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?
Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered,
each to his own home, and will leave Me alone.
Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with Me.
I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
