My Lord and my God, what a sweet and precious gift You have bestowed upon Your beloved. What a tender and merciful shield I can stand behind in Christ. My heart delights to know that my Father’s gaze perceives no flaw in my soul because He looks at me through the filter of perfection that is my Savior. There is no greater gift than to be hidden in Christ. There is no greater love than to be enveloped in His tender embrace. My Lord, thank You for the cleansing of the cross. May all iniquity still lingering within me be burned away by the shadow of Your grace until my prayers of gratitude waft to Your throne like fragrant incense. Your power to save is unfathomable. Your perfect holiness attracts my soul to worship. How I delight in the offering of love. O God, let me never be tempted by anything less than all of You. Under the Word of truth in Colossians 3:3 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
