My God and my King, restore the simplicity of faith. Reveal to Your servant every extraneous detail that detaches me from the essence and purity of Your love. My heart is in anguish within me when I cannot sense Your presence. My soul languishes without the daily caress of Your Word. Jesus, lead me back to the cross when I have wandered far from the sight of my salvation. Let me fall at Your feet in grateful adoration, never ceasing to recall the power of sacrifice. Spirit of the Living God, do not let me walk contrary to the will of the One who can perfect me. My wretched soul is in need of a Savior who will guide me, reveal me and remake me. I cannot live contentedly unless I hear Your voice. There is no pleasure besides bringing glory to You, God. Put me back on the path, Lord. As I sorrow over the revelation of my iniquity, Lord Jesus, take my trembling hand and show me the simplicity of faith as You wipe away every tear that stains my face. Under the Word given in Revelation 21:4 and the authority of Christ, I pray in awe and wonder.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,
and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning,
