Beautiful is the presence of my God as I sit at the feet of One who hears my heart. Glorious is the whisper of love that covers me from within my Creator’s sacrifice. Lord Almighty, You are my protection, my refuge and my serenity. Let me dwell in the house of the Lord forever. For You have shown me the way to Your Kingdom, Jesus. Your cross invites me to follow the path of belief. Your Spirit beckons me to quiet the resistance within that only leads to death. The beauty of Your resurrection is like a golden sunrise that chases away the darkest of nights. Let me walk in the light as You are in the light. Your radiant glory is my canopy, God. In the shelter of Your wings, Your beloved finds sweet rest. Under the Word of truth given in Psalm 27:4 and the authority of Christ, I bow my head and heart in prayer.

One thing I have asked of the Lord, and that I will seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence]
all the days of my life,
To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the Lord.
And to meditate in His temple.
