Jesus, let me hide myself in Your Holy Spirit. My transgressions may chase me down, but Your forgiveness is the canopy of my protection. Even in the silence, I hear Your voice beckon me to confession that cleanses. Even in the noise, Your love surrounds me with a buffer of peace. Let my soul continually search out the depths of Your heart, God. Let my heart be satisfied with nothing less than all of You. The songs of Your deliverance chase away the voice of condemnation. The shielded place of intimacy in prayer guards my heart from the flood waters of anxiety. My Lord and King, with Your eyes ever upon me in love, teach me to walk in the light as You are in the light. With gladness in my steps and glory to God as my goal, I will trust in Your pathway now and forevermore. Under the Word of Psalm 32:6-7 and the authority of Christ Jesus, my heart and soul pray.

Therefore let everyone who is godly
    offer prayer to You at a time when You may be found;
surely in the rush of great waters,
    they shall not reach him.
You are a hiding place for me;
    You preserve me from trouble;
    You surround me with shouts of deliverance.
