My soul longs to enjoy the depths of You, God, while delighting in the heights of Your incorruptible love. Make the path of Your perfect illumination known to these wandering feet of mine so that I can walk in the light where You are. Your counsel is sweetness that counteracts the bitter advice of this world. In my ignorance, let me not mock You, my King. In my iniquity, keep me from becoming ensnared by temptation. Draw Your beloved into the sacred space of meditating on Your Word. For what You have planted within my soul is made fruitful beneath the watering of love flowing from the cross. Immersed in Your living water, Jesus, my worship will not wither. The roots of my faith reach deep across time and space until I am drawn into the depths of my God whom I love. Under the majesty of Your Word in Psalm 1:1-3 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I humbly and devotedly pray.
Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on His law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,

Keep In Step with the Spirit 
Immersed in Your living water, Jesus, my worship will not wither– yes, Lord, immerse us!
