Jesus, I run to the protective embrace offered at the foot of the cross. Let me fall before You, King of glory, so that Your canopy of grace covers me in my iniquity. Rescue me from the false accusations I continually condemn myself with, Lord. Within the fortress of Your Word, I find my true identity. Let me live to honor Your Name. Remove me from the dangerous distraction of self condemnation, my Lord. You are faithful and powerful and just. There is no barrier standing against me that You cannot overcome. There is no trap that can ensnare me eternally when I call out to You for help. Jesus, turn my gaze away from worthless idols of cultural influence. Let me be the ambassador of heaven You designed me to be. Make Your servant beautifully loyal with love-rooted faith until Your Name and renown is the motivation beneath every breath. My hope is with You, God Almighty. Under the Word of Romans 8:1-2 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
There is therefore now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus.
For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus
from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1-2, ESV
Let me fall before You, King of glory, so that Your canopy of grace covers me in my iniquity– I like the idea of a canopy of grace
