Lord of heaven and earth, Creator of all that is, that was and that will be, let my spirit be infused with Your holiness. The astonishing power of the beauty in the light of Your love unravels the web of lies which has darkened my definition of who I am. Your majestic grace shines dazzling hues of righteousness from the cross that covers me like a protective canopy against condemnation. Only You can awaken my soul with understanding. Only You can bring me to life that is abundantly contrary to the vain existence of emptiness that selfish pursuits offer. Thank You Jesus for filling the hollow of my being with Your life. Thank You for standing in my place and taking the punishment that is due me. Your perfection encompasses all truth. Your light draws the face of my soul upward so that I can gaze upon the glimmer of majesty flowing from Your throne. Vanquish my inclination to follow shadowy pursuits, Lord God. Invite me again and again into the warmth of the canopy of Your love. Forgive my wayward heart in its consistent straying as You tether me by the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit. Under the beauty of truth imparted in John 10:10 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
