Lord, deafen my ears to the deceitful tongues that attempt to influence my heart away from You. Make my weak faith stronger in the light of Your love. Meet me in the sweetest place of meditation where Your holy Word becomes a part of me and my thoughts are taken captive to Your truth. When the ember of faith has grown cold because the storms of life doused the fire of holiness, my God light me up again with flames of grace until Your all-consuming love displaces the coldness within me. Plant me along the riverbank of Your will so that the roots of my life reach out for Your living water. In the power of Your Spirit, enable Your beloved to leave a bounty of fruit that points others to the glory of Your Name. Move me Lord, and I will move. Steady me and I will not falter. Rest me and I will find the rejuvenation my soul desires. I am Yours to do with as You will. Under the Word of God in Psalm 1:1-3 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

    follow the advice of the wicked,
