Great and holy Master of the Universe, sit upon the throne of my heart and claim victory over my soul. Let nothing stand in the way of complete surrender. Let no hidden desire prioritize itself above my desire for You. Jesus, You are my delight. You are my joy. Grant me sweet reminders in the midst of abundant blessing to praise You. My tendency is to relish what was given rather than show gratitude to the Giver. With such sweet grace, You wash over the dirtiness of such inclinations. You offer cleansing through teaching when it is well received. Make every moment a molding from Your hands. Make every lesson a refinement of soul until I radiate Your heart with the same intensity of passion with which You saved me. Whether in prosperity or hardship, let me glorify You. Whether in weakness or in strength, let me trust in You. May all that I am end in the new beginning offered in Christ. Under the Word of truth in Psalm 150:1-2 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
