My heart was once crumbling with deceit until You took the pieces and put them back together with Your loving hands. My heart was once empty and cold but now, O LORD, it is filled with thanksgiving and joy because of Your salvation. The enemy had such a tight hold on my heart that it was no longer beating. But You, O LORD, You loosened the grip of the enemy. You, O LORD, gave me a song to which my heart could beat the rhythm. After everything had fallen apart, You took over and made things right again. You knew that I needed You; so You sent Your Son to find me. You sent Your Son to save me –Your Son to die for me! Jesus, I bow beneath the authority of Your Name, for You are my King, the only one worthy of praise. Under the beauty of truth in John 3:16-17 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17, NKJV
My heart was once crumbling with deceit until You took the pieces and put them back together with Your loving hands.–this is great imagery
