God, You are the only One that I need. You are my breath, my life, my love. With Your strong hands and mighty arms, You created the universe and all that was in it. My mind cannot fathom the gentleness with which You then constructed my body and the love with which You gave me life. May all who belong to You listen to the voice of their LORD. Let those of us who love Him worship Him with our actions, with our blessings, with our pain. O God, my God, how I long to please You. How I long to follow You wherever You lead. Jesus, be LORD over my life because I make an utter mess of things on my own. I am so grateful that You do not require perfection in living because I fear that I do not do it too well. But my God is a forgiving God. But my God is full of love for His children. Even though I mess up and make mistakes, O God, You are always there to redirect me and show me the better way. Even though I so often stray from Your path, You are still there to love me with open arms when I return. My soul finds fulfillment in Jesus. As His, I am born into a new life –a life of freedom. I am free from worry. I am free from the burdens of this world. The chains of fear have been broken. The noose of selfish desire has been loosed. No longer am I a slave to the enemy of my soul. Hallelujah! I have been purchased by the precious blood of my Savior. May my life shout to the world, Hallelujah! Under the Word of Revelation 4:8 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
