Lord, my God, holy is Your Name. Take the discordant melody of my heart and write a new song in me. Tune my soul to Your heavenly chorus so that I might sing Your praise with the life breath granted to me. I bow in wonder before heaven’s mercy seat. I approach Your throne with the grace granted me in Christ. Lord, hide me in the righteousness of Your Son. Let me escape the wrath due to me on account of my rebellious nature. How can I even fathom all that You have given me? How can I fully understand Your display of love through the blood spilled from the cross? Reign within my soul by the power of Your Spirit dwelling within me, Lord. Let faith be the oxygen I breathe. Let hope be the blood that circulates through my veins of belief. My Father in heaven, holy is Your Name. Clothe Your beloved in rainbows of living color until the dimness of all darkness fades and the light of truth engulfs all that I have become. Under the Word of truth given in Jeremiah 33:2-3 and the authority of Christ, I humbly pray.
