Lord God Almighty, though this world is broken, You are the fixer of wounded souls. Father, take the brokenness, the pain and the shards of shattered hearts into Your mending presence. Within the refuge of Your truth, there is protection from the struggles of life. Within the perspective of eternity, true joy is found on the horizon. God, let my heart not become weighted by the burdens of sadness, grief or loneliness. For I know that You are with me. I know that You are carrying my load. Deter the darkness of isolation, anxiety and physical weakness from snuffing out the light of life birthed inside of me through Your Holy Spirit. Though life is no less complicated by following in Your footsteps, earthly troubles have lost their sting. Through the power of endurance granted me by the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit, Your servant rejoices to persevere for the Name of Christ. Where You are, there is hope. Where You are, love reigns. Father, keep me in pursuit of Your holiness even when all else attempts to distract me. My place is with You, Jesus. My citizenship is in heaven, not this world. Under the Word of 2 Corinthians 5:20 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
