Open my heart, Lord, to Your infinite love. Steady the steps that I take each day through the wilderness of life. Let me not stray far from Your eternal protection in a world fraught with traps of deception. With gratitude, I surrender to the mercy You extend each morning. Use me, Lord, as an extension of Your grace in this world. Lead me to reach my image-bearing potential so that the Kingdom purpose for which You designed me comes to fruition. Through the empowering of Your Holy Spirit, Your servant can be effective against darkness. Father, chase away the lingering doubts that convince me I am not enough. Vanquish the swirling lies that taint my identity with vain contradictions about who You designed me to be. Remind my wavering heart that I am who You say I am because You are who You are, my Creator, my Sustainer and my Defender. Through Christ, I can do anything You call me to do. Knit my internal definitions with Your Word of truth, Lord, so that I become sanctified, blameless in Your sight. Beneath the Word of truth in Philippians 4:13 and the authority of Christ, my Savior, I pray.
