Jesus, You take my breath away. What joy is in my heart when I feel the tender mercy of Your touch. You are my King, my everlasting Savior and Prince of Peace. The bond of love that You have extended to me is unbreakable. I thank You from the depths of my soul for finding me even when I did not know that I was lost. O God, what would I do without You? What would my life have become? I dare not think on it. You have given me purpose. You have opened my eyes to the bigger picture. You have welcomed me to be a part of Your Kingdom. Let us rejoice that we belong to God. Let us rejoice that there is more to life than what we see with our eyes. God is good! He is Sovereign and in control. In the midst of the storm, He is there calming the wind and the waves. When the path is obscure, He is whispering to my heart the way in which I am to travel. What have those who trust in God to fear? The enemy has already been defeated. The story is written. The happy ending is assured. Let me catch my breath as I take Your hand, my Savior. My heart beats violently inside my chest at the power of Your love. Who am I to deserve such beautiful things that You have in store for me? Who am I that You would make a place for me? I am Yours, Jesus. And You, only You, can keep my love safe. Under the Word of the Lord in 1 Peter 4:8 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
