Father of all hope, giver of righteousness, I come before You on bended knee with a heart filled to overflow with adoring gratitude. You have been good to me. Even in the hardship, You have dealt mercifully with Your beloved. Enable my eyes of faith to clear away the cobwebs of personal injury so that I can see the majestic glory of Your refining work. If hope were only in this life, misery would prevail within my soul, but You have promised something more to those who call upon Your Name. This world offers nothing which could satisfy me like You do. My heart longs for Your presence, Holy Spirit. My own spirit rejoices in my blessed Savior. There is sweetness to be found within the pages of Your Word, God. There is richness to be bestowed upon those who have been granted inheritance through faith in Christ. Reveal to me any area in which I have held back from You, God. Equip me to surrender with complete abandon until the abiding work of Christ manifests in the way I live, move and breathe. Command me, Lord, and I will obey because I love You. Show me how to love You more. Under the Word of blessing in 1 John 4:19 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
We love because He first loved us.
1 John 4:19, NIV
This world offers nothing which could satisfy me like You do.–Amen!
