In my weakness, I will find strength in the love of my Savior. Though the trials of life seem so long and so uncertain, I rejoice because I can depend on my LORD. In dependence on You, Jesus, I find an abundance of life. My eyes will search out the hand of God in every moment of every day. I will hold my plans for the future loosely so that I can look to Your guidance, my LORD. My heart is glad because my soul enjoys Your presence. Your plans are perfect, O God, and I will not question them even when I fail to understand. Forgive me in my selfish moments of trying to make things go my own way. Because of our intimate relationship, I will laugh with You at my short-comings. In my soul I will be assured of Your perfect love. Since You are on my side, I will trust in You. I look to You alone for my help. Thankfully, O LORD, You give me all that I need to accomplish Your will in my little life. In my difficulties, I have only to reach out to You and You are there. Though the enemy taunts me and tries to trip me into a pit of anxiety and worry, I have only to whisper Your mighty Name and I am saved. You have broken the chains that bound me and pulled me out from the enemy’s grip. In Your presence, Jesus, I am at peace. With Your grace, I am cared for. Under the blessed Word of truth in Isaiah 43:2 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in grateful prayer.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
