My Father, subdue me with divine love that overshadows me. There is no hope for my soul apart from You, Jesus. With arms outstretched and bloodied upon the cross, You have opened wide the heart of God, reminding me that You go to prepare a place. Confidence is birthed in the death of pride as I embrace the power of the righteousness of Christ. Lord, may I not resist the resurrected love You offer me. Walk me in the ways of Your commandments because faith manifests in love. I rejoice because I bear Your image, God. I delight in becoming more reflective of Your abundant mercy. Whatever soul malady still lingers within me, Lord, only You can rip it from its deeply rooted stranglehold in my heart. With Your mercifully severe hand of discipline, separate me from embedded lies which I have agreed with. Shred the subtle, poisonous thought patterns of the enemy – leftover refuse from prior battles when I was too weary to clean up once Your Spirit gained the victory. God, only You can accomplish in me anything of lasting Kingdom value. Father, enrich me in Your presence. Complete me in Your image. Remake me in Your love. Under the Word of John 15:5 and the authority of Christ I bow in prayer.
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him,
he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
John 15:5, ESV
There is no hope for my soul apart from You, Jesus–Amen!
