Today’s Prayer

Those who belong to the LORD are not conformed by the ways of the world. For our minds are set on things above. In peace our minds are stayed on Jesus. LORD, our God, with Your truth renew the thoughts of Your people so that we can joyfully live according to Your perfect will. For we trust in God because He is our King. When we are confused, let us lean on God alone because He is the One to help us in our troubles. My soul waits with eager anticipation for the realization of salvation. With my whole heart, help me to obey the LORD, my God, that I would always turn toward His truth. Because those who love the LORD will inherit all that He has promised. When life is a struggle, the LORD will empower us to give thanks regardless of the circumstance. Only through the Holy Spirit can we be kept from trouble; For He watches the way that we go. He gives life to our heart. He warns us to guard our heart because it is His treasure. There is nothing else that gives me such joy as when I feel the delight of the LORD in me. Only He can quiet the chaos with His love. Only He can calm the storms with His peace. My joy is rooted in Jesus for He has been faithful to me. May my spirit be fixed on the LORD for strength and love. With His counsel He will guide me. And I will take His hand as I follow Him toward glory. For one day I will be promoted to heaven. Under the Word of Matthew 13:44 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field,
which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes
and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Matthew 13:44, ESV
