My Father in heaven, Your unfathomable mercy is the radiance of Your glory that draws me out of the darkness and into the light of divine love. Can my feeble heart ever fully comprehend the magnitude of Your gracious pardon, Your kind compassion or Your perpetual provision? Jesus, You have walked the harsh footsteps of this reality in order to sympathize with the plight of my iniquity. In powerful love that spans the confines of time itself You visit, encourage, strengthen and teach those who believe. My heart flows with the thirst-quenching gratitude that comes with being Spirit-filled. Let me take hold of You, my Savior, and let go of all other false anchors in my life. In humble adoration I praise You Lord because You are worthy. In vulnerable prayer I bow at Your feet, wetting Your scars with the tears of inadequate words. Jesus, You are my joy and my life. I would never have found the way had You not shown me the Kingdom. Your Spirit granted me the key to the treasure of Your Word which unlocks the mystery of love which my soul has been searching for. Put Your mark in me, God. Do not forsake the work of Your perfect hands. For truly I am Yours now and forevermore. Under blessed Word of Psalm 138:7-8 and the authority of Jesus Christ I bow in prayer.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
You preserve my life;
You stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
and Your right hand delivers me.
The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me;
Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of Your hands.
Psalm 138:7-8, ESV
Can my feeble heart ever fully comprehend the magnitude of Your gracious pardon, Your kind compassion or Your perpetual provision?– good rhetorical question
