Today’s Prayer

Words fail me when I come into Your presence, my Sovereign LORD. I tremble at the thought of Your power and Your glory. I marvel at the sudden realization that I belong to You. You have washed me clean. You have taken my battered soul and bruised heart in Your healing hands. With tenderness, You have ministered to my every wound until I am whole again. Jesus, I find my completion in You. My purpose is in Your love, alone. What can this joy be rooted in if not in Christ? The selfishness of my human nature led me into darkness. The wickedness of the world left me with only despair. But then I met the LORD, my Savior. As I languished in a pit of darkness and despair, He rescued me. My eyes have been opened and they are now fixed on the light. O God, my God, Your love is beyond my understanding but not beyond my reach. Thank You for showing us the way. Thank You for leading us home. Thank You for rescuing us from the enemy’s snare. Our God has brought us freedom so we can proclaim our righteousness in Him. He has shown us a better way- a way of love and of grace by Him who sacrificed all. Let my life be a sacrifice to my Love, my King and my Redeemer. My weakness has been turned to strength. My blindness has been traded for faith. My despair has transformed into joy rooted in Christ Jesus! Under the Word of Psalm 30:11-12 and the authority of Christ I lift up my prayer in gratitude.

You have turned my mourning into dancing for me.
You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,
to the end that my heart may sing praise to You, and not be silent.
Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to You forever!
Psalm 30:11-12, WEB
