My Lord God, I bow before Your open heart with holy anticipation. Your extravagant love is what I have been searching for. Gratefully, I come to You to fulfill the deep longing that only Your presence satisfies. I come to You when a tornado of emotions clouds my vision and anxiety prevents my soul from anchoring to a solid foundation. Jesus, clarify my thoughts as You take them captive to Your truth. Steady my wandering faith while You instruct me in the daily observance of steps leading to holiness. Shape me into the reflection of Your light and love which You intended me to be. Where the edges of my soul are rough, smooth the sharpness. Let me not inadvertently cut those around me. Where the contents of my heart are dark, let me be emptied. For You are my Creator, whose will for me is altogether good and complete. Increase my trust as You increase my faith. Under the Word You have given in Hebrews 13:20-21 and the authority of Christ, I bow before You in prayer.

May God, who puts all things together,
    makes all things whole,
Who made a lasting mark through the sacrifice of Jesus,
    the sacrifice of blood that sealed the eternal covenant,
Who led Jesus, our Great Shepherd,
    up and alive from the dead,
now put you together, provide you
    with everything you need to please Him,
make us into what gives Him most pleasure,
    by means of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Messiah.
